All my neighbours have received communication on this tax.

We did not receive our statement.

How do I go about getting my assessment letter?

Hi Finbarr,

At the moment we are hearing that a lot of people haven’t received letters. You can contact the revenue directly on lpt@revenue.ie or call 1890 200 255

Hope this helps

can I pay by draught cheque as I don’t want to give account details to people prepared to raid bank accounts in the future?

You can pay the full amount of Property Tax by cheque ( or bank draft or postal order). Revenue ask for the cheque to be enclosed with the LPT1 Form when you return it. Forms are due to be returned by May 7th 2013 . Make cheque payable to Collector General . Put the property ID number on the back of the cheque.
